KOH Experience Shop: A Revisit

It's been a very long time since I last paid a visit to the KOH Experience Shop. I had been told a few months ago that the nail polish heaven had moved to a different location in de Bijenkorf Amsterdam. I finally had the time to drop by the shop a couple of weeks ago. Of course, I bought nail polish (just one!). And of course, just for you, I got permission to take some photos while I was there.

Note: As with my previous visits, this visit was made on my own initiative and at my own cost.

In general, the interior of the shop looks similar to the previous one. There were some minor changes here and there, and while there were two Walls of Joyful Colours before, now there are three.

A selection of KOH products and sets with the new faux-leather cases:

The manicure table looks much like before:

The KOH Experience Shop is located on the second floor of de Bijenkorf in Amsterdam, tucked away in a corner near the coats and jackets section.

Dam 1

As mentioned before, de Bijenkorf is located within the vicinity of Dam Square and is just a five-minute walk from the Amsterdam Central Train Station.

There is word that a second KOH Experience Shop will be opened in another city in the Netherlands soon (also in de Bijenkorf). Details are not yet available.

More information can be found on the Dutch version of the KOH Cosmetics website.

Great photos!! The shop looks beautiful. People really get a good impression of the shop through this virtual tour. Koh's staff should be very happy with you.

Take care,
Paula

I am Dutch myself, but I didn't know Koh was a Dutch brand. I found out through your website as you write so much on this brand. Now I am a fan too LOL!

Nice photos btw, Linda x.

@London's-beauty
The interior of the shop has always been zen-like. It's very classy and it certainly goes well with its brand image. :)

@Naoko
The pleasure's all mine, Naoko! I know the feeling. The first time I ever set foot in the shop, I felt like I wanted to buy everything! I'm more sober and restrained these days. Thank goodness (for my wallet)! :D

@Paula
Thank you, Paula! I'm glad you enjoyed this post. I don't know about the staff being happy, but I suspect that they find it rather amusing: me, a KOH-crazy customer, always turning up with her camera! :D

@Linda
Hoi, Linda! Well, in the early days, even I thought that KOH was a Japanese brand! :D So, you're now a KOH-convert! Be careful. It can do damage to your wallet. :) Anyway, I'm pleased you like the photos. I had help from my hubby with that (as I was also busy choosing nail polish!). ;D

@Lavender
I know what you mean, my dear. Self-restraint is the key! :)

Oh. My. God. Gotta love KOH! I wonder how much the big box full of pretty coloured nailpolish will cost...
The last time I went there was during the 'Drie Dwaze Dagen' event. They were giving free manicures!

Now why doesn't N.America have a store for polishes as divine as this? =)

@Anni
Hi, Anni! Hmm, I can't remember now how much that large box with 18 polishes cost. Correction: I just checked. I think if you bought six bottles of KOH Colours nail polishes, you'd get it for free. You might want to check with the shop to confirm. :) Oh, you were at the DDD! I hope you got yourself a manicure then. I, for one, missed the whole event this year. :(

@Arie
Thanks, Arie. I'm glad you enjoyed this post. :)

@Natalie
I don't know, Natalie, but maybe there are such little 'heavens' in N. America. :)
