Adorned Nails: Arcancil Addicted Fuchsia

Arcancil is a brand that I don't see or hear much of on the net. There never seems to be any buzz surrounding this French brand and I wonder if it's the same in its home country. It does come across a bit staid but I keep an open mind.

I've had good experiences so far with Arcancil nail polishes. Their prices are quite easy on the pocket (think GOSH). They polish well and they don't chip within the first day like some. Perhaps a drawback would be their limited colour range but if you took the time to look, you just might find that one gorgeous polish that would make your heart sing.

I found mine. In fact, I found three, one of which I've shown before: Arcancil Bronze Caprice. I have another one that I totally adore and I will feature it here later.

The third one is what I have on today: Addicted Fuchsia (seen here in two coats). Of the three that I love, Addicted Fuchsia is perhaps the 'plainest' of them all. It is a crème polish in simple fuchsia. It looks unassuming in the bottle but on the nails, it is so look-at-me!

As I indicated the other day, I'm taking a break from floral stamping images. So, I took this wire mesh design from the KONAD plate M44 meant for French tips and stamped with KONAD's black stamping polish. I knew I would have problems aligning it properly on the nail tips, so I stamped it diagonally far, far away from the tips. Problem solved!

I have slightly shorter nails now, no thanks to a little incident in the kitchen. Ah well, I'm just a normal person like everyone else with dreaded household chores to do.

If you like Addicted Fuchsia or if you'd like to try Arcancil nail polishes, leave a comment here. Your comment might just put you in good stead later.

You may find more information on the Arcancil website. Check out also my feature on Arcancil Bronze Caprice and leave a comment there too, if you wish. You just never know......

  3. I love the colour and I find the design super original. Don't worry about your nails, I prefer them that long, they look pretty (and also more confortable, don't you think?). Thank you for your nice comments on my blog!! xxx

    Hello! Thank you for your kind words. I wish you had left your identity here (if you do read this again, please let me have your name - thanks!). That would be handy for me (and you too!) if and when I decide to hold a giveaway of Arcancil nail polishes later. These comments do count! :)

    @Eli
    Awww, Eli. Would this colour look not good on you?! Surely not!

    @Naoko
    Thank you, Naoko. You're so kind. Yes, shorter nails are certainly more comfortable (and practical!), but anyway, my nails weren't that long to begin with! :D As for your blog, it's always a pleasure to read your writings!

    @Shop N' Chomp
    I'm glad you like this. P.S. You really should contact the tourism authority of Las Vegas! ;D

    @dialvie

    @Dina
    Yes, it's a lovely, happy colour. :)

    @Seraphine
    Well, I did say this Addicted Fuchsia was the plainest of the three. Bronze Caprice is a striking colour, isn't it? I'm glad we both agree on that. Thank you for your nice comment on the stamping. :)

    @Cynthia
    I'm pleased you like it! :D

    Thanks, Arie. Since I couldn't stamp parallel, slanted stamping was the way to go! Ha ha!

    @Zara
    I quite agree. I have very seldom seen this brand featured on the net. I'm pleased you like this shade! :)

  16. It's not because we have short nails that we can't put polish on them ><
    It's a gorgeous pink by the way!!

  19. It doesn't seem like this brand is really famous in France...but still, the colors are great!! I would love to try :) I used to dislike fushia, but now I kinda like it xd does this polish chip easily?

    By the way, I got a little incident in the kitchen too few weeks ago (chopped the tip of my nail off -_-'), but your nails still look good ^^

  20. I looked on the site you gave and I'm in love with the Peach colour :) Bronze Caprice is gorgeous too...

    I don't really wear pinks, but it does look nice, I like how you off-setted it's brightness with the darker colour :P

    Thank you! :)

    @Lolipop
    Well, from what I've seen, their nail polish shades are all on the safe side. They are nice, but they're nothing eye-popping. Its durability is so-so (around 2 days+). What I'm most impressed with is their top coat. :)

    Sorry about your incident in the kitchen! Mine happened the same way too. The knife caught the tip of my nail. Hmph! Never mind, nails do grow back. :D

    @NorthernArtist
    Thank you! I've seen the Peach before but I never bought it. It's actually a sweet milky peach shade. :)

  22. Beautiful manicure! I heart all things pink. No, Addicted to Fuchsia isn't the most original shade. Honestly, I probably have a few bottles in my stash just like it.
    That doesn't make me feel like I need this one any less. I haven't heard of this brand before but will definitely be checking it out. Thanks for sharing !

    Thanks, Colleen! Haha, true, this shade is easily dupable. Never mind, I bought this because I wanted to try different colours from different brands. :D
