Adorned Nails: KOH Metallic Red



Isn't this colour so full of life? I feel energised looking at it!

I'm really not joking, my heart skipped a beat when I applied the first coat on the first nail. It is such a glorious colour. In fact, seeing this colour made me forget momentarily that my favourite nail colours are actually purple and burgundy. Hah, imagine that!




KOH Metallic Red is an old purchase. Funnily enough, I bought it for someone but I found out afterwards that she wasn't into nail polish at all. Oops. So, yours truly decided to keep it for herself. Well, if anything, it was a purchase gone wrong gone right!

Metallic Red is a bright, sunny orangey red with fine shimmers. It applied like a dream. Actually, one coat would have been fine but I did two. I love this polish as it is, so there is no need for embellishment this time.



There is a cantata that would go very well with this nail polish (oh, humour me, please!) and it's one of my favourites: Carmina Burana by Carl Orff.

    What a lovely and stunning coral-ish red. I have a bracelet that has some sea coral on it and this color reminds me of it (minus the shimmer of course). I love the smooth look of it too. x jeanie
