Inglot: Intense Blue Eye Look

This is an all-blue eye look that I did using (mainly) the Inglot products that I bought last month.

I used the following products:

L-R
Inglot Eye Shadow Matte 332 (bottom - matte dull navy blue)
Inglot AMC Eye Shadow 68 (top - intense cornflower blue with shimmer)
Inglot Duraline
GOSH Velvet Touch Eye Liner - Black Ink
Majolica Majorca Lash Enamel Glamour Volume On - Black BK999

L: Eye Shadow Matte 332; R: AMC Eye Shadow 68

What I did:

1. Applied an eyeshadow primer (not shown - I used Too Faced Shadow Insurance).

Upper lid

2. Applied with a medium density eyeshadow brush the matte dark blue 332 on both the inner and outer corners of the eye, leaving the centre part of the lid bare.

3. With the same brush, filled in the centre part with the lighter blue 68.

4. Blended the colours out with a blending brush.

5. Tightlined with the black of GOSH Velvet Touch Eye Liner.

6. With an angled eyeliner brush, lined the lash line with the dark blue 332 mixed with Duraline (feature on this later).

7. Applied another layer of the lighter blue on the center part of the lid. Blend it out.

Lower lid

8. Used the last bits of the 'Duralined' dark blue to line the outer two-thirds of the lower lash line. Let it dry.

9. Went over the dark blue and the rest of the lower lash line with the light blue (for a bit of shimmer).

10. Curled lashes and applied mascara.

I mentioned in my review that the matte dark blue is very pigmented. After blending, I find that it drowns out the 'weaker' lighter blue. So, go easy on the Inglot mattes, I say.

Thank you, JC. Inglot came up with Duraline to transform any of their powder eyeshadows into a liquid formula. It's quite a handy product. I'll write more about it soon. :)
