Meet Bronzation's and Blue Universe's cousin: Green Stardust. It is probably the least 'exciting' of the bunch of KOH flaky polishes but that doesn't mean that it doesn't deserve some love here.
Green Stardust is a dark grey/khaki green jelly with silvery micro-glitters and the usual iridescent flakies. The flakies are green when viewed upfront and aqua/blue and sometimes purple when viewed at an angle.
With flaky polishes, it's always nice to pile on the layers to pack on the metallic flakes for maximum impact. I did four coats on all nails except the ring finger, which has three.
Because it's basically a jelly polish, polishing with it is so trouble-free. Also, in general, any flaws in application or any minor dents tend to elude detection due to the busy-ness and density of particles in the polish. Gotta love flaky polishes for that!

Thank you! I use a simple Nikon D40 but this model has unfortunately been discontinued. You could check out the D3100 model instead. Btw, I have no secrets. The camera does most of the work for me. :D

Well, so far, I still think Blue Universe is da bomb. BUT that's just me. :P Still, this Green Stardust is even more pretty in real life. Its green is even greener. Have a look in the store if you have the chance.
I know, I am a very bad influence to some. Yikes, I should be arrested by the beauty police! I did say to you once: The more you see, the more you would want to buy. Sigh! If you can restrain yourself, try to wait for offers at the parfumerie stores. Sometimes, Douglas has 10% off offers and some other stores may have BTW-vrij days. It will take some waiting but such offers do make a difference. I bought mine during one of those special offer days. :)

ReplyDeleteThanks for the possible-dupe alert. :) Well, the Alessandro bottles contain only 5ml and I believe they cost just under €5 each. The KOH polishes come in 10ml bottles and they retail for €14.95 each. It looks like Alessandro wins in terms of better value but for the price that you pay for KOH, you do walk away with a classy case as well. :)
