Adorned Nails: KOH Dreamy Gold

Here's KOH Dreamy Gold, the third of the new polishes from the KOH Holiday Spirits collection.

I've got on two coats here. Dreamy Gold is something of a cross between a dark champagne and a golden medium taupe. Just like the previous one, Loving Bronze, this one is filled with golden micro glitters. These micro glitters look more like chartreuse gold and it could be due to the influence of the champagne-taupe base they are floating in. In Loving Bronze, they look more yellow gold.

I've taken photos of this polish in different lighting conditions. At times, it looks dark champagne, sometimes golden and at other times golden medium taupe, depending on how the light hits it.

Dreamy Gold gets my vote and so does Loving Bronze.

This polish was provided by KOH Cosmetics.

The next three Holiday Spirits polishes, which are all red, are not new releases.

Previous Holiday Spirits polish: KOH Loving Bronze
Next Holiday Spirits polish: KOH Red Wine

  6. This one is beautiful too. It's a lovely collection. I love the glitters in this one as it's not the "in your face" kind. These elegant shades are for any occasion. Take care, Nicole x

    Indeed! It's actually quite subdued, so I think it's an all-ocassion colour. :)

    @Pauline
    I'm glad it has caught your eye, Pauline. :)

    @Adis
    Hi, Adis! Hmm, I haven't got a bottle of Graphite to compare it with but I'd say Dreamy Gold is more champagne/golden/beige than grey. Well, have a look at the real thing the next time you're in Douglas. :)

    @Nikki
    Ja, en deze kleur past ook bij allerlei kleuren/kleding. De kleur is best wel 'nude' maar toch heeft deze lak glam. Haha, volgens mij ben je al helemaal klaar om kerst en oud en nieuw te vieren, Nikki! :D Groetjes!

    @sugar sugar
    Wow, I've never seen you exclaim like that before! ;)

    @rock-or-not
    I'm glad you like it! :)

    @Nicole
    I know what you mean, Nicole. To me, Loving Bronze and Dreamy Gold belong to the same category. They're both quite shy and subdued and are nudish tones. Yet, they sparkle without blinding your eyes. I agree. 'Elegant' is the right word to describe them. :)

    @I Drink Nail Polish
    I'm happy you like these three new releases. :)

  9. Super. Bij de eerste foto lijkt het wel of er kleine led lampjes in zitten. Het is een mooie collectie voor de feestdagen.
