Giveaway: Rituals Cosmetics Makeup

This giveaway is closed. Thank you.

I’m sure some of my readers are not into nail polishes like I am. I do not wish to exclude anyone in my giveaways, so I thought I’d launch one with makeup as the prizes. I’ve decided to feature prizes from the Dutch brand, Rituals Cosmetics.

Rituals is known here for its wide range of gorgeous-smelling products for the body, face and home. The brand, which advocates putting time aside to pamper oneself, is known for its sleek, simple, Zen-like store interiors and product designs. It recently celebrated its 10th anniversary by launching a small collection of perfumes for men and women.

Of course, it also has its own range of gemstone makeup. Rituals says that its eyeshadows contain sapphire and its (coloured) lip products have ruby.

I’ve decided not to do one big prize containing all the products shown below. I would like more people to try something from Rituals, so there will be five winners, each winning one item.

These are the prizes up for grabs.

L-R:
Duo Eye Shadow - Double Jade
Ruby Lips Lipstick – Sunset
Super Shine Lipgloss – Ruby Night
SuperShine Lipgloss – Icy Amethyst
Eve’s Kiss Silkening Lip Treatment

The prices of each of the items range from €6.90 to €16.90.

Although I would like to show you the contents, I do not wish to open the packaging for hygiene reasons. I will instead show you the same products that are my own.

The eyeshadow that you see above is one of my own Mono Eye Shadows. The Duo Eye Shadow - Double Jade - contains a light chartreuse-like shade (shown here in the mono) and a khaki green.

I do not have the same lipstick shade as in the prize. Sunset is a lovely intense coral red shade, a tad more red than coral.

To take part, this is what you need to know:

1. Open worldwide, far and near.

2. Open to all who follow Witoxicity’s writings.
You may follow through RSS feeds, Bloglovin, through your Google/Twitter accounts (on Google Friend Connect) or you could be a regular visitor to this site. Please be honest.

3. Please fill in the simple form found at the bottom of this post (now removed) with the necessary information. That would be your one basic entry. Comments left under this giveaway post will not be deemed as entries.

4. Optional: For additional entries, you may do one or all of the following. The choice is entirely yours.

Tell others about this giveaway on your blog – two additional entries.

• Leave a relevant comment under each of my posts featuring the said Rituals products – one additional entry for your comment on each post (you will know which posts they are as it will be indicated). You could earn at least four additional entries through this.

So far, only one such article has been published: Rituals: Eve’s Kiss Silkening Lip Treatment. My articles on the other items – the eyeshadow, the lipstick and the lipglosses – are still to come and they will be featured during the course of this giveaway.

Please don’t feel obligated to leave a comment for those posts. If you have nothing to say about the article/product, it’s all right. You can leave it at that. I’m only doing this so that readers, especially those who do not have blogs and those who regularly leave comments anyway, would have a way to earn extra entries.

5. This giveaway will run till January as, I’m sure you’d understand, the Christmas and New Year holidays would not be an ideal time for me to tabulate the entries and announce the results.

So, please submit your entries by filling in the form below by latest Thursday 6th January 2011 at 11.59pm (Central European Time).

Kindly fill in the form only once.

6. The five winners will be chosen randomly using the Mummy Number Generator (that’s my Mum who is just a phone call away).

The first number picked will win the Duo Eyeshadow, the second will win the Ruby Lips Lipstick, the third will win the Super Shine Lipgloss (Ruby Night), the fourth will get the Super Shine Lipgloss (Icy Amethyst) and the fifth will win the Eve’s Kiss Silkening Lip Treatment.

7. The results will be announced on Sunday, 9th January 2011. The five winners will be contacted via email. If there is no reply from a particular winner within 72 hours, an alternative winner will be chosen.

8. Every care will be taken in sending out the prizes but I will not be held responsible in the event that a package goes missing in transit or arrives damaged.

9. All the prizes are brand new items. This is not a sponsored giveaway. All the items were my own purchases.

You will find more information about Rituals here and on the Rituals Cosmetics website.

Good luck, everyone!

Let me admit: I am 25 and have never been a cosmetic junkie until a few months back when I decided to get married. Poof! Half my salary goes is hoarding cosmetics and more than half of my free time goes in reading make up blogs. I came upon Witoxicity a few weeks back... and have been a regular reader eversince! This blog is therapeutic... after a long day at work, I feel really relaxed when I read your blogposts. Thanks! You are doing an awefully good job here :)

@Saroj
Hi, Saroj! It's really nice of you to drop me a line. You know what, my obsession with beauty products started when I was preparing for my wedding, just like you! How interesting! I wrote about it in my first post.

Thank you so much for your very kind and encouraging words! I'm pleased that I provide you with therapeutic reading. For me, it is the writing that is therapeutic! So, I should be the one thanking you for reading my posts, my dear! :)
