It's been a long time since I last used ELLIS FAAS Eye Light E305, that duochrome metallic turqoise-burgundy liquid eyeshadow (well, wasn't that a mouthful?!). The last time I used it was when I tried out two looks suggested by Ms Faas for the Winter Glow gift set. I think I overdosed on E305 back then.
I anticipated some problems with clogging in the pen and decided to give the applicator brush a good wash. Applying the same method and using the same precautions as when washing makeup brushes, I gave the E305 brush applicator a good wash with water and cleanser. This was what the brush looked like after it dried - nice and clean.
There was still a bit of solidified eyeshadow further inside that couldn't be washed out. I managed to extract that with a clean toothpick. With that done, I didn't experience any clogging problems with this pen.
For this eye look, I used:

Good combination of copper and emerald. I never mix those two. Hmmm...you are inspiring me to think outside the box.

The deep metallic green is superb!
well, i think the product looks so pretty! it really does make your eyes pop! :D
Gorgeous eye look! It looks great and I love the combination of petrol green and turqoise/burgundy. It looks great on you, I love it. Take care, Nicole x
The effect is amazing!!
Great look!
Your eyes were made for the Ellis Faas Lights, as this is yet another stunning look on you. Have you seen the recent Pixiwoo YouTube? Sam picked up an EF canister and demos all of the pens in a single look. She used the same Lights pen as you, but hers came out way more burgundy looking.
I am loving the color combo, such a stunning look. Very pretty!
Maybe green or burgundy nails to match it would be perfect. "KTee"xx
@Girlie Blogger
It's nice to experiment sometimes. Umm, this Light is not really a copper. It is a metallic turqoise on a burgundy base. :)
@나니
This metallic Light is quite intriguing to look at, I gotta say. :)
@sugar sugar
Thanks! :)
@Nicole
Thank you very much, Nicole! I was just playing around with the colours and I'm happy with how it turned out. It's really nice to know that you like it too. :)
@rock-or-not
I'm so glad you like it! Thanks! :)
@Zuzu's Petals
Hey, thanks, Zuzu. :D Ooh, I haven't seen the video - will go check that out. I find that if you lay it on thick, Light E305 would look more turqoise (and you'll see the burgundy at an angle). A thin layer, like in this particular swatch, the burgundy would show more than the turqoise would. I wouldn't mind seeing more of the burgundy, really. :D
@KTee
Thanks so much, KTee! :) I'm pleased you like it. Heh heh, I like that matchy-matchy idea. It's been a while since I did something like that. I wish I could freeze time and do all the things that I plan/want to do here. :P
That Light E305 looks so beautiful and opalescent as a liner. What a great way to use this product.
@Jen W
Hello, Jen! I think, with E305, moderation is key. I've tried using it as a shadow on the whole lid before but I think it works a lot better with just a dab or when used as a liner. Give it a try! :)
beautiful eye makeup!
@Paulina
Thank you! :)
This looks just like MAC Club Eyeshadow. Gorgeous!
@Mz More
Ah, a dupe! :)
Wow what a lovely look this is. It's perfect for a party I guess. That mouthfull burgundy turqoise eyecreme is stunning!!!
@PolishSis
Thanks, my dear! Haha, yes, it certainly has the bling factor for a party. :D I do wish more of the burgundy would show through though. :)
